Disney Bambi 2

Bambi 2 is a 2006 direct to DVD midqueal of Bambi. It takes place after Bambi's mother dies, and Bambi has to live with his father, The Great Prince of The Forest. The Great Prince tells Friend Owl he will only watch the fawn till spring, and that a doe needs to be found. During morning patrol, Bambi reunites with Thumper and The Great Prince suggests Bambi go with him and his sisters to see the groundhog. When he gets there he runs into his old friend Faline, and meets a rival fawn named Ronno who likes Faline. Bambi waits for his father and falls asleep. He dreams of his mother and when he wakes up he hears her voice. Turns out it was one of man's tricks and some hunting dogs come for Bambi. The Great Prince saves him and then scolds him about not running. The next day he has Bambi stay at the den. Thumper and Flower decide to cheer him up and teach him to be brave like The Great Prince. Thumper teaches him to go "Grr", but Bambi's sounds like a lamb. They grr at a lot of animals, but come across a porcupine. Thumper tells Bambi to stand up to it, and he gets struck. Faline who is hanging out with Ronno, and hears Bambi's screams. Ronno teases Bambi, and Thumper pushes Bambi over causing Bambi to strike Ronno. Ronno chases them, but Bambi jumps from a ledge to another ledge to safety. His dad catches him and is mad at first, but then becomes proud of the jump Bambi made. Over time Bambi and his father bond and become friends. One day Friend Owl comes with a doe named Mena, who is to watch over Bambi. Bambi is upset with his father and yells "I wish mother was here instead of you!" When he goes off with Mena, Ronno taunts him and says that he was so much of a disgrace that his father sent him away. Bambi is mad and fights Ronno. Mena notices and goes over, and Ronno accidentally bumps her. She stumbles back and gets stuck in a trap. She tells Bambi and Ronno to run. Ronno runs off, but when Bambi runs, Mena repeats the words his mother said before she died. Instead Bambi faces the dogs and head butts one off a cliff. As he reunites with his father, the rock breaks and he passes out. The Great Prince is overjoyed and takes his son home. The next day Thumper is telling the animals of the forest the story of yesterday. Bambi comes in and his antlers are starting to grow in. The porcupine strikes him, causing him to jump forward and kiss Faline. Ronno comes back to taunt him, but he falls in the water and gets bitten on the nose by a turtle. Bambi goes to see his father, who shows him where he met his mother when he was Bambi's age. Bambi asks what his father was like when he was younger, and The Greta Prince replies, "I was a lot like you."
